Layers of bright, pure acrylic colors are painted with overlapping, hard edged shapes. These forms build upon one another, creating dynamic movement and invented patterns on every side of the piece. A lightweight dried gourd vessel becomes the canvas for this meticulously rendered artwork. Once dried, the gourd is opened and the seeds are carefully removed a protective matte varnish is
