Flood had been exposed to a great deal of wet while at Otterpool and developed a case of Myalgia (muscle pain
instead the badges manufactured and issued in the Summer of 1920
Inserted into the moisture guard is a small size tab reading “57 ½”

Germany, Luftwaffe. An Em/Nco’s Belt Buckle Newly Listed Steadfast)(Luftwaffe Grtelschnalle). Constructed of grey painted magnetic metal, the obverse bearing a raised Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika on a pebbled background, set within an oval laurel leaf wreath, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws connecting to a period original brown leather strap, unmarked, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), with some oxidation and loss of finish evident, in better than very fine condition.
