reverse centre portrays a light blue enamel sky with the figure of Cincinnatus standing with a plow on green enamel ground
constructed of aluminum wire with rolled aluminum bullion wire interlaced with green threading to form the veins of the eagle as well as details on the wreath

In silver with red paint, ball finials on the tips of the star points, measuring 54. 3 mm (w) x 51. 5 mm (h), safety pin attachment, scattered chipping and wear evident in the red paint, contact marks, better than fine. Footnote: The Gallipolli Star was a military decoration awarded by the Ottoman Empire. It is also known as the Ottoman War Medal. It was instituted by Sultan Mehmed V on March 1, 1915 for gallantry
