Wire fids make it easier to splice ropes with tight covers where there is not a lot of room for larger traditional fids to fit through. Made of 2. 0mm diameter wire with a formed eye. The eye makes it very easy to secure the fid to an anchored hook while working the rope. Available in 2 lengths, the 25cm is good for smaller diameters like 6 8mm cordage with
