A Imperial German Pilot's Badge; Unmarked Juncker & Published Example Hold He was appointed to theBadge by Juncker (type V), in silvered brass, with cut out crown which is typical of this maker, 45. 79mm x 72. 13mm, weighs 26. 4 grams, with hollow center, circa 1917 period manufacture, in worn condition, very fine. (Illustrated on page 180, Carsten Baldes "Aircrew Badges and Honor Prizes of the Flying Troops").
