A 63Rd Infantry Battalion Cap Badge, C.1915 Auction with correct original ribbonIn pickled copper, with large crossed rifles indicating that it was manufactured by Jacoby Brothers of Vancouver, measuring 35. 5 mm (w) x 48. 2 mm (h), both lugs intact, scattered gilt wear, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Alberta under the authority of G. O. 103A, August 15, 1915. Mobilization headquarters was at Edmonton, Alberta. The Battalion sailed April 22, 1916 with a strength of 36 officers and 1,018 other ranks
