A 1933 Free City Of Danzig Medal For Special Cultural Services With Case Archive measuring 47 mm (h) xBronze, obverse illustrating the Free City of Danzig coat of arms in the centre flanked by laurel leaves, surrounded by the inscription in Gothic text "Freie Stadt Danzig" above and "Fr besondere Leistungen" below, reverse maker marked and engraved "Altflug 1933", 62 mm, edge nicks, spotting, very fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, recessed medal bed, wear evident in the fabric overlying the hinged area, scuffed exterior, case also very fine.
