A 1870-1951 French Legion D’honneur With Diamonds Auction 25 Years Faithful service crossA 1870 1951 French Legion DHonneur (Third Republic), breast Badge, of unusual construction, in silver and enamels, center in Gold, with hand chiseled suspension above the wreath, on top of which is set a fairly large genuine old cut diamond (also another old cut diamond on reverse), measures 42mm (x 65. 0mm including wreath suspension), unmarked, slight enamel flaking on one reverse arm, otherwise in very fine condition.
