The badge (66x36 mm) was made of silvered bronze and had a horizontal pin and catch on its reverse
Germany, HJ. A 1938 National Trade Competition Victor’s Badge, Bronze Grade, by Gustav Brehmer GTRexclude published by the Oxford University(Ehrenzeichen Kreissieger im Reichsberufswettkampf 1938). Constructed of bronze with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel leaf wreath, surrounding a white enameled disc, overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a cogwheel defaced by an enameled HJ insignia, circumscribed by an inscription of KREISSIEGER and flanked by a date of 1938, the reverse with a barrel hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a round wire
