with maker’s label imprinted with golden letters on reverse
depicting the royal mongram of Karl and Olga in gold
Germany, Hj. A 1944 Gau-Level Hj Competition Victor’s Award By Gustav Brehmer Archive WWI 14th Infantry Battalion Collar(HJ Leistungsabzeichen). Constructed of zink with multi coloured enamels, obverse depicting a German national eagle clutching a HJ shield within a cog wheel, on top of a white enameled background with raised inscriptions of GAUSIEGER and 1944, within a laurel wreath, reverse with a ball hinge and vertical pinback, meeting a round wire catch, maker marked G. Brehmer, Markneukirchen, measuring 49 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in good condition.
