Anhalt, Duchy. A Friedrich Cross For Combatants, Pinback Version Newly Listed 2nd pattern eagle(Friedrich Kreuz). Instituted 12 December 1914 by Duke Friedrich II. (1914 1918 issue). Constructed of bronze, consisting of a convex Cross Patte with its arms joined through the quadrants by a circular oak leaf wreath, the obverse bearing a central monogram of Duke Friedrich II, the six oclock arm bearing an institution date of 1914, the twelve oclock arm bearing a raised crown, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and tapering vertical pinback
