An 1870 Paraguay Cross GTRexclude There is a brass YugoslavLackened bronze, 26 mm, integral suspension, light contact, near extremely fine. Footnote: The medal was established in 1870 and awarded to the Brazilian armed forces, National Guard, Volunteers, Police and civilians supporting the war effort. It was also awarded to Uruguayan and Argentinian members of the Allied Forces who together had defeated initially superior forces of the expansionary Paraguayan government.
