It is our opinion that this badge has lost its silver component due to connection points on the badge

A metal watch fob, presenting chain links, two bearing the date 1916, a central link bearing a national eagle on the obverse, and the inscription IN EISERNER ZEIT 1916 on the reverse, measuring 29 cm in length, and in very fine condition.
