An unusual and well preserved Luftwaffe overseas cap for a senior female auxiliary, constructed of a dark blue grey wool blended cloth with a pronounced whipcord weave. The cap is fully surrounded by fold down side walls which are trimmed along the edge with silver aluminum wire piping. Stitched onto the lower peak of the cap is an insignia consisting of a dark blue grey wool backer bearing a hand embroidered
