Waldeck, Principality. A Military Merit Medal, Silver Grade, C.1915 Newly Listed Provenance: GLEN(Silberne Verdienstmedaille). Instituted 26 December 1878 by Prince George Victor. (1915 1918 issue). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a monogram of Prince George Victor, the reverse with an inscription of FR VERDIENST (FOR MERIT), unmarked, measuring 30. 55 mm in diameter, weighing 18. 5 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near extremely fine condition.
