EDR Webinar Registration — June 17, 2026
About This Webinar
This is a live, interactive session with Mike from DataYard and Andrew from Huntress. It's built for organizations where uptime and data security are non-negotiable.
We'll show you how EDR responds to a real threat scenario. Whether you're running antivirus and wondering if it's enough, or you've had a scare and want to know what to do next, this session is practical and direct.
Walk away with a free 30-minute Security & EDR Assessment for all attendees after the session to get a clear picture of where your current setup stands.
What We'll Cover
- What's actually happening in the threat landscape for businesses right now — and why AI is making it worse
- Why antivirus alone isn't enough anymore and what behavior-based detection changes
- How DataYard deploys and manages Huntress EDR
- A real incident walkthrough -- what triggered an alert, how we responded, and what was prevented
- A live Huntress EDR demo: detection → investigation → response in real time
- How to know if your current setup is leaving you exposed
Featuring
Mike Beagles

Technical Account Manager · HuntressAndrew is a technical advisor at Huntress, helping organizations deploy and get the most out of their managed EDR platform. During the webinar, he’ll lead a live demo showing how threats are detected and stopped at the endpoint.
Agenda
Key Takeaways
- The threat is real and it's accelerating. AI is lowering the bar for attackers, and no business is off the radar.
- Detection alone isn't enough. Many breaches aren't from lack of tools, they're from lack of visibility and accurate team response.
- Antivirus and EDR are different. Both matter. Only one stops what's already inside.
- Managed EDR removes the burden from your team. DataYard and Huntress monitor, investigate, and respond -- so you don't have to.
- Speed of response limits the damage. The window between detection and containment is everything.

What People Say About DataYard
Trusted by Ohio Businesses Since 1995
DataYard is different. They are true partners who collaborate with us to give us solutions that fit within our needs. So many times I am presented answers well before I think that my vendors understand my challenges.
When we needed to shift our file storage to a cloud-based system, the DataYard team handled every detail. We continue to use their team of experts to help us solve difficult problems.
Sometimes I go to bed forgetting that a major drawing is happening overnight. That is how much trust I have in the cloud solutions DataYard provides for the MegaMillions Lottery.
Questions About the Webinar
What is this endpoint detection and response webinar about?
This is a live, practical session focused on how endpoint detection and response works in real SMB environments — not a theoretical overview. You'll see an actual EDR platform detect, investigate, and respond to a threat in real time. DataYard's Mike Beagles will walk through how EDR is deployed with real clients, and Andrew from Huntress will run the live demo. There's also a Q&A at the end for direct answers from practitioners.
Who should attend this webinar?
This session is geared towards any business for which security and uptime are non-negotiable.
It's most useful for:
- Business owners and executives who want to understand their current exposure
- IT managers evaluating whether their current security setup is sufficient
- Operations leaders in industries like manufacturing, healthcare, or professional services where downtime has real consequences
You don't need a technical background to follow along.
What's the difference between EDR and antivirus?
Antivirus is signature-based, and blocks threats it already recognizes. Endpoint detection and response goes further. EDR monitors behavior across your endpoints continuously, detects anomalies that don't match any known signature, and enables investigation and response when something suspicious happens. Think of antivirus as a lock on the door. EDR is the camera, the alarm, and the response team — all running at once. We'll cover this in detail during the session.
What do I need to attend?
Just a computer and an internet connection. The session runs on Zoom -- you'll receive a link after registering. No software installation required. We'll send a reminder the morning of June 17th with your link included.
Will the webinar be recorded?
We plan to share a recording with registered attendees after the session. That said, the live Q&A portion is where a lot of the real value comes from — it won't be scripted, and the answers will be specific to what attendees actually ask. If you can make it live, we'd recommend it.
What is the free Security & EDR Assessment?
After the webinar, registered attendees can schedule a complimentary 30-minute conversation with DataYard's security team. We'll take a look at your current endpoint coverage, ask a few questions about your environment, and give you a clear picture of where you stand — no obligation, no pitch. It's designed to give you something actionable, whether you work with us or not.
Why is DataYard hosting this with Huntress?
Huntress is the managed EDR platform DataYard utilizes for its own client environments. It's purpose-built for SMBs — which means it's designed for organizations with lean IT teams, not enterprise security departments. We're partnering with Huntress for this webinar because they can show you the platform in action, not just describe it. You'll see a real threat scenario handled from detection through resolution.
